Rogue Round Flash Adapter v2 is Even Smaller and Lighter

Rogue Round Flash Adapter v2 attaches quickly to almost all sizes of rectangular speedlights, stretching quickly over a flash head.  The adapter incorporates a metal mounting ring allowing Rogue Round Flash Magnetic modifiers to quickly snap to the adapter.

“People loved the first Rogue Round Flash Adapter, especially the ease of taking it on and off their flash heads, but some photographers told us that it would be great if the adapter were even smaller and could be left on flashes in their bags,” said ExpoImaging CEO Erik Sowder. “We were able to update the Adapter v2 to maintain the ease of attachment and removal while reducing its weight and streamlining the design to make it take up less space in a bag.” 

Rogue Round Flash Adapter v2 Includes Heat Vent Cut-Outs for Larger Off-Camera Speedlight Flashes

Some larger off-camera flash heads use heat vents near the flash element to help cool the flash. Examples of these flash heads include the popular Geekoto GT200,Godox AD200, and Flashpoint  eVOLV 200 off-camera flashes.

Flash modifiers that attach directly to the flash head often cover those vents and interfere with the flash’s heat dissipation.  This can negatively affect the flashes’ performance in repeated high power shooting scenarios.. The Rogue Round Flash Adapter v2 allows the use of Rogue Round Flash Magnetic Modifiers with Godox AD200, GT200 and similar off-camera flashes without covering the heat vents.. Note that photographers who own a round head attachment for their off-camera flash can attach Rogue Round Flash Magnetic Modifiers directly to their round head attachment without using the v2 Adapter.
